Issuing of certificates for graduates and students who have completed programs of study

If a certificate other than those listed below is needed, please inquire to the Graduate School of Engineering Academic Affairs Section.

* Requests cannot be made by telephone, fax, or email.

[When requesting by post]

Complete the "Request for Certificate " (Page 1: Request form, Page 2: Example of completed form), and include a self-addressed stamped return envelope before sending. Also include a photocopy of a piece of identification (such as a driver's license) in order to verify your identity.

*	If you do not know your student number, you may leave that space blank.
*	For 1 – 2 copies (no seal), an 80 yen stamp is sufficient. When requesting from overseas, include an international reply coupon. (There is no charge for issuing the certificates.)

[When requesting at the office]

Enter the necessary information on the "Request for Certificate" provided at the office.
Bring with you a photocopy of a piece of identification (such as a driver's license) in order to verify your identity.

[Important information concerning request by proxy (at office or by post)]

In cases when it is not possible for the graduate to apply in person,
and application for issue of a certificate is performed by a proxy, pay attention to the following points.

(1)	A letter of proxy from the graduate personally is necessary. Bring it to the office or include it with the posted application.
(2)	The proxy should bring a photocopy of a piece of identification (such as a driver's license) to the office or include it with the posted application.

The Osaka University Engineering Society is a public-interest corporation with members composed of currently-enrolled students and graduates of the Osaka University School of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering. As an alumni society with proud traditions and history, it is engaged in a range of activities aimed at supporting education and research at the alma mater, and otherwise improving the school and strengthening friendship and communication between members.
The society also offers an information service for members which uses the internet to send emails or SMS concerning class cancellations, tests, and other course-related information, as well as employment information and other useful information.
