With the remarkable advancement of AI, groundbreaking innovations are being achieved across various fields of science and technology. While AI demonstrates overwhelming capability in advancing ideas “from 1 to 100” through the use of massive datasets and simulations, the creation of truly original value “from 0 to 1” — concepts that have never before existed — still largely depends on human intuition. In order to cultivate the increasingly important ability to generate such “0 to 1” innovations, our laboratory will pursue the development of new technologies and services with a strong emphasis on observation in real-world settings.
